If you do not wish to find out in the room what the gender of your baby is, we will ensure this is written down and passed on to your nominated gender reveal individual. This timeframe offers the best opportunity to visualize the baby's genital area, as the fetus has developed enough for the ultrasound technician to identify the sex accurately.

The scan is carried out using a specialized ultrasound device. The ultrasound technician applies a water-based gel on the mother's abdomen and moves a handheld probe, called a transducer, across the area.
The transducer emits high-frequency sound waves that penetrate the body, bounce back, and create images of the baby's genital area on a screen.
